Another Scoop of Schubert

Okay! Okay! This isn't even a very good pun, but I had to try! I like to use captions and headlines that will get kids' attention and provoke them to read the info that I have posted. This board is pretty self-explanatory. I post facts about Schubert on colored paper and decorate with pictures of ice cream cones and ice cream sundaes. I use my old Music History I text for most of the info. I try to write the descriptions on a 3-4th grade level. That way it is still interesting to the older kids, but easy enough for the younger kids to read. I like the checked background on the board above, but I usually use some kind of festive wrapping paper or a summery table cloth. For more background ideas, click HERE.
