Reading Music is a Piece of Cake

I love using 3-D props on my bulletin boards. These pretty blue styrofoam plates were just the touch this board needed. The plates contain a rhythm written out "ta ta titi ta" or whatever. The small cupcakes scattered around the board had rhythms on them. Students were to figure out which cupcake went on each plate. The napkins were scattered around as decoration. The cupcakes were printed in print shop with the music notes already on them. I used a plain border on this board, but you could always spice yours up by adding plastic utensils with hot glue.
