SING in the New Year!

After the New Year begins, I like to have a bulletin board that features a music or cross curricular aspect for each month. "Sing In The New Year" is a pun for "Ring in the New Year". I make graphics that represent each month left in the school year, although you could do one for each month, as well. Some examples could be having an umbrella with the caption, "Showers of Song". Other captions have been, "March into Spring", "May Concerts", etc. I have used this bulletin board to feature specific cross curricular ideas as well. I featured the lyrics that I wrote to a tune written by Teresa Jennings called "Think". My version was titled "READ", in honor of the March celebration of "Read Across America". This particular bulletin board has been one of my favorites because it has many different possibilities.
