Hello! Beethoven is calling! Or is he? This bulletin
board kit contains 12 cell phones (approximately 10 inches
tall) with clues about composers on each one. For
example, the Beethoven phone contains this clue "He wrote
Ode 2 Joy. During his composing career he went deaf." On
the phone display is the number "233846836". The
numbers correspond to the buttons on the phone. So
"2" could represent the letters "a", "b" or "c". The
title sheet and instruction sheet is included in this kit
as well as a Composer Phone Book which lists the correct
answers. This kit contains a zipped folder of PDF
files.

Play Ball! This bulletin
board kit combines a baseball theme with the names of
composers and their famous works. Each glove
contains a popular tune from composers such as Haydn,
Rossini, Sousa and so on. Composer names are on the
baseballs. There are 14 sets of composers and songs.
The photo above shows only a portion of the kit. In
addition to the gloves the kit includes the title letters
(they fit on a standard sheet of paper), extra blank
baseballs and eighth notes that use baseballs instead of
traditional note heads. This bulletin board kit
could be used as a center in your music classroom in which
students match composers to their famous tunes.

Welcome
to the world of social networking. These composers
have broken the barriers of time to show up on your
bulletin board! This kit includes title letters, 8
category buttons, 3 ad buttons, 3 activity panels, 8
composer photos (approximately 8 inches tall) and their
"status updates" (which fill an entire letter-sized piece
of paper). Each composer tells a little bit about
themselves through their status and some even include
actual quotes. Example 1:
Handel
is pleased with the performance of the Messiah but
will be disappointed if I only entertained them.
I hoped to make them better.
Example 2:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
is working on a theme and variation piece.
You might
recognize the tune as Twinkle Twinkle Little
Star.
