Although this
board is perfect for the beginning of the school year, it
could be used at any time to welcome students to your
classroom. A partial kit is shown above.
This kit contains the gumball machine base but not the
bubble that all of the gumballs are in. Due to the
size needed you should create this element for the board
from bulletin board paper. This kit contains a title
sheet and 28 colorful gumballs. Fourteen of the
gumballs contain the descriptions of things that students
will do in music class. Examples: "We will learn to
play xylophones." and "Learning to read music is fun!"
The other 14 gumballs contain class names from preschool
through 8th grade and then a few general music class
names. Blank gumballs are included for you to

in each. Each pumpkin fills an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of

the often over looked bass clef! Included in the kit
are 15 bats that seem to be flying over a full moon.
On each of the moons there is word spelled out using notes
on the bass clef staff and an occasional other letter that
is typed below. Words included are: bat, caged,
black cat, bad, egged, dead, fade, facade, graveyard,
Dracula, faces, candy, scared, candle and scream. In
addition to the bats with words there's one included that
has the lines and spaces of the staff labeled (picture

details. Each feather contains a small treble
clef staff and a note ranging from middle C to C on
the third space. Make even larger turkeys by
printing multiple copies of the feathers and making
several rows of feathers around your little gobbler.

Groupings included

octet.
Consider using these cards for creating
cooperative learning groups. Hold up a trio card and
instruct students to make trios or groups of three. Hold
